Ubifrance, Dexia Crédit Local and
Isted have pooled their resources and areas
of expertise to produce a state of the art update on decentralisation via ALM/WLA.
The three partners individually provide: useful data for French decision-makers
abroad, expertise and financing for public service facilities and promotion of
French know-how and closer links between local representatives throughout the
world. Foreword Dexia,
who contributed to launch the website www.almwla.org with Isted and Ubifrance,
informed its partners not to continue its contribution under this form. His decision,
effective from 01/01/2009, is driven by the fact that its services update, in
a regular way, information on local authorities organisation in the EU- 27, under
a form of books and papers available on the website www.dexia creditlocal.com. At
the request of Isted, Dexia has accepted to leave on the site almwla former sheets
on the EU-27, as an archive
to
preserve its basic role as global comparative tool. ALM/WLA
focuses on how local government functions and provides local representatives,
decision-makers, university leaders and companies
with keys to help them
decode the local authority market, via country-by-country analyses based on comparable
data regrouped under the following headings: |
